My name is Ramona. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my fibre tolerant partner, dust bunnies, and a medium sized stash.
You can find me on Ravelry, and Instagram as ramonafirehorse. I’m also on Pinterest and Etsy under the same username, but am not as active in those places. I have served on the Board of the Toronto Knitters Guild and love meeting fibre-y friends, both near and far.
I’m a CranioSacral Therapist by day, fibre enthusiast by night, and podcast junkie 24/7.
I originally started this blog under the name Knit Me Too because I felt overwhelmed by the number of yarns and patterns I wanted to try. I thought I could feature some talented designers and makers, even if I didn’t get to make everything that interested me.
In late spring 2018, I took up garment sewing and suddenly my making world grew exponentially, and the name of the blog didn’t quite fit anymore.
Welcome to Me Made Happy! I’m hoping this space evolves into a place where I can empower myself and others to create happiness. I am a maker, but I’m clear happiness doesn’t only come from making things.
I welcome any feedback you may have. Thank you for joining me on my journey.
